It’s Time for the “LGB” to Take Back Pride

It’s Pride Month again, time for some people to crack out their rainbow everything and party hard in the streets of their nearest metropolitan cities. At least that’s what it used to mean. In recent years however, Pride has seen a decline in attendance, partially because of the COVID-19 Pandemic and waning interest in the event. This year some Pride Festivals are being canceled by their organizers too. In both cases, the waning interest and the self-cancellation are because Pride has been taken over by radical elements. And I am not talking about the self-serving corporations who throw money at these events and slap their products with rainbows or other pandering gimmicks to make people who identify with the cause buy more. The groups I am referring to are Trans-Radical Activists (TRAs) and Groomers/Pedophiles.

In recent years they have taken a lot of power in the left-wing “Alphabet Community” and made Pride all about themselves and the ever-expanding alphabet they make up as they go along. This of course doesn’t only take the fun and meaning out of Pride for us normal folks but sets back gay rights. Take for example the recent issues with violent TRAs threatening their detractors and engaging in terrorist activity, and the issues with certain psychopaths pushing for “Child Drag Shows”. These groups have piggybacked on the Gay Rights Movement for years to give themselves legitimacy, and now that they have taken over they push their agenda at Pride Events. The end result now as they commit murders, assault children, and attack parents, is that the animosity they build washes back on Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals because we are forcibly associated as their allies.

These are the people in charge of our spaces, these are radical leftists. They have made Pride all about them, they use it as a prop. Take for example the recent decision by the organizers of Tampa Pride to cancel the event because of new state laws that prohibit exposing minors to sexually explicit performances. This law wouldn’t have affected the event as long as they didn’t allow kids to attend or at least segregated the areas where adult performances were going to take place. However, instead of making an appropriate decision, they punished hundreds of potential gay and lesbian attendees in the Tampa Area by canceling the event. And that’s why we need to take Pride back. For the LGB community of Tampa, Pride was a place for them to have fun and meet people, but for the radical organizers, it was a political prop to garner sympathy for their apparent cause of sexually grooming children.

A Gun To The Head

What most people don’t realize is that most Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexual people are not allies of these psychopaths. We don’t approve of what they do, or what they stand for. Most of the LBG just want equal rights and to be left alone. Unfortunately, most of the LGB are basically held hostage by the TRAs and Radical Left-Wing Activists. And I am not using that term lightly. LGB individuals face threats and intimidation in many forms to comply with the radical agendas of the groups who have co-opted the Gay Rights Movement.

For Gays and Lesbians being in the thrall of the left is nothing new, and only recently have conservatives turned the corner on this issue and been more tolerant of LGB individuals, although that may end soon. Being a Gay Conservative I know best how the left tries to influence gays. In Chapter 4 of my book Big Fat Liars: 9 Core Lies of The Left Wing Establishment, I recounted the story of a gay guy I met in 2016 who became convinced after the election that Trump would round up all the gays and kill us. Why did he believe this absolutely absurd claim? Because left-wing activists and media pundits tried to use fear to drive people into a panic in a last-ditch effort to keep Trump out of office. Obviously, it didn’t work, but it illustrates how the left uses fear, especially on gays, to control people. And now TRAs use the same technique.

Now that TRAs are facing pushback online from Gays and Lesbians on either side of the political spectrum who are fed up with their behavior, TRAs have paired their usual threats of violence with lies about their relevance and the potential repercussions if we distance ourselves. For example, earlier this year when #LGBwithouttheT was trending on Twitter, TRAs started their own #noLGBwithouttheT and made wild claims that homophobes would get “all of us” if we cut them off from our community. They even claimed Trans people were solely responsible for the Stonewall Riot that kicked off the Gay Rights movement. Of course, none of this is true, but neither were the claims that Trump would put us all into gay concentration camps. It’s all just a poor attempt to manipulate LGB people through fear.

The real threat comes from the TRAs themselves though. TRAs are not only violent but also massively homophobic. Does anybody remember how in the 90’s we were outraged at the people who told us being Gay or Lesbian was a choice, and that we could simply choose to like the sex organs they thought we were supposed to like? Well that rhetoric isn’t dead, now it just comes mostly from TRAs who claim gay men can like vaginas, lesbian women can like penises, and if we don’t we are “Transphobes”. They then proceed to try to kick us out of our own spaces we built, Pride Festivals and Bars, because we refuse to change our sexuality to accommodate their beliefs. Does any of this sound familiar?

There are too many instances of TRA Homophobia to count. Here is a fun collage provided by @Psy_Brian with a few prime examples of TRAs using the same rhetoric as ’90s homophobes.

How Do We Take Back Our Pride?

Now that the radical left, corporate shills, and homophobic TRAs are in charge of organizing Pride, things may seem hopeless for the idea of normal Gays, Lesbians, or Bisexuals taking back the Pride festival. It isn’t though. In fact, it starts with one simple thought, “Why can’t we organize our own thing?”

Now this is a good start. I would definitely go to something like this. But then again there are a lot of gays who still drink the kool aide about conservatives but are also aware of how they are being pushed out of their own spaces, just not how to fight back. So I would say go bigger, a nonpartisan event, just for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals, just for fun. I mean honestly thats what Pride has been about for most people. It was about meeting others and having fun. So Pride with the absence of politics just makes more sense.

It doesn’t need to start big either. The biggest event for gays in the South, New Orleans “Southern Decadence“, started in 1972 as a gay costume party with 50 or 60 attendees. Mind you, Southern Decadence is known as a wild and sometimes degenerate sex party. But thats okay, because Southern Decadence leads with another excellent example of how a Pride Festival should be held, NO KIDS! Honestly, Pride has always been adult-oriented, kids do not belong there.

Another thing we can do without is the Parade. Baltimore Pride primarily takes place as an actual festival held in Druid Hill Park. There are booths and music and people mainly just sit out on the grass and listen to the music and talk. Again, take the politics out of that and the exposure to children, it’s quite nice. And along the eastern seaboard anyway, there are a lot of large forests urban parks, or state parks within the vicinity of urban centers, so there are plenty of places where a larger LGB Pride festival could be held if it can get past its infancy.

Let’s Do Some Bullet Points

To make things simple, here is a list of what elements we need to plan a successful Pride, separate from the homophobic TRAs, the vile Groomers, the opportunistic Corporations, and the fear-mongering Left. (TBH, some of these are just good rules for planning any event period.)

  • Find a Good Space – Start at somebody’s house, farm, or estate. Or if you can, get a permit for a local park or campground.
  • Little to No Politics – This is optional. I love the idea of Homocon Pride, but we can do a lot more good by creating a nonpartisan event. But maybe add a little politics, just to remind people why we needed our own event. (*cough* TRAs)
  • No Kids – Honestly, I don’t have a huge problem with debauchery at gay events, it doesn’t look good for us but some people just need to cut loose. Thats why it’s super important there be no kids around. Lewd acts or not, Pride is exclusively about our sexuality and kids don’t belong around that.
  • No Corporate Sponsorship – Keep it as cheap as possible, or maybe find some rich gay backers. (Im looking at you Ric Grenell and Peter Thiel) Dont even let big corporations in to cater. Get your food, electronics, and other supplies locally from small businesses and small vendors.
  • LGB ONLY – Part of the problem we have now is we let TRAs and Straight people co-opt our spaces. And if we let them in again, it will likely happen again. The organizers and the financiers of the event should be exclusively Gay, Lesbian, or Bisexual. And while we shouldn’t ban any particular groups of people, gender activists and other TRAs should be banned.
  • Supply What is LEGAL and Fun – Booze, Music, and Food. Maybe some kind of small pools or water slides. Pride is fun when it’s a party, so make sure it feels like a party. Don’t forget to keep people safe though. Make sure nobody is bringing in drugs and crap. My feelings about drug use aside, it is a giant mood killer and legal liability if someone gets hurt at your event, even if they brought the drugs themselves. Supply the fun, but make sure nobody is putting themselves or others in danger.

A Good Idea Takes Time

I would love to see one or more of these pop up this year. Sadly it seems like people are just now considering this. And events of this magnitude take time unless you had an Ultra Rich donor who wouldn’t mind a loss on his investment. It takes time to get the word out, to find a suitable location, all these things. I don’t expect we will see something viable like this till next year at the earliest, but probably longer than that. That shouldn’t stop us from establishing the roots now though, planning parties in the meantime as a precursor and searching for supporters/financiers. Starting now is probably the most important step actually.

Remember, this is about fighting back as much as it is about a fun party. It’s now or never, we need to divorce ourselves from the Left Wing Alphabet community. If we don’t distance ourselves effectively now, the progress we have made will be wiped out. Right now 55% of Republicans Support Gay Marriage, and an even larger number are tolerant of gays and lesbians. But if we continue to be associated with Trans Murderers and Pedophiles pushing sexuality on kids, that will change quickly. The LGB divorce needs to happen, and it needs to happen soon. And making Pride ours again is where it starts.

And if anybody successfully plans one of these parties like I described, please send me an invite via email. I would love to come.
